Q: How long will a session last for?
A session will last from 15 - 30 minutes.
Q: I do not want to do session, can I participate?
Yes ! You can be photographer, reporter, or a participant learning from the others!
Q: Do I have to prepare well in advance?
You can start thinking about it, but most of the time, 3 days before is enough. Participation to forums requires little preparation, leaving room for personal improvisation. We don't expect you to provide a power point during the session, but rather resources to go further after the forum.
Q: What if I'm not connected with the topic I chose?
The core idea of WAP is to share something that you truly care or like, that you would like to go further in your future direction. You are free to change your topic until the last minute of the forum.
Q: What if I have no participants?
No worries, our forum design will let every one has at least 3 participants.
Q: Will I be judged?
WAP is a safe place for trials. We are all here to help, to grow together, not to judge.
Q: Should my session be in English or French?
If you only speak French or only speak English, no problem , choose whichever you can speak;
If you are a bilingual, we suggest you prepare both languages to adapt to the language level of your participants.
Q: How many will be at the forum?
Well.. We anticipate there will be 15-20 participants this time. You won't be sharing to such a large number that is for sure: we will break the group into smaller peer groups.
Q: Can I invite friends to join WAP forum?
Yes! Our past participants have brought their friends, dates, even families to join WAP, because it is an enjoyable and connective experience.
Q: What if I missed this forum?
Forums happen at emlyon every month. You can join the mail list to get notification for future forums by writing to team@wearetheprojects.com!
Q: What if I led a bad session?
There is no mistakes at forums. From past experiences, we have created the same open and welcoming atmosphere, where no one will be criticised. And we count on you all to pass on this spirit!
Q: How can this help with my professional project?
Only when we start from our own difference and extended into our project, into our specialty, then we can start professional life that is full of meaning and joy
